BONFIRE BAGUETTE
There are so many things we love about SriMu's BONFIRE. It is an inspiration to gather around the communal sacred fire.
This Bonfire Baguette is so simple to make and oh so delicious!
INGREDIENTS
- ½ Sourdough Baguette
- 1 SriMu Bonfire cheese ball
- Red Cabbage
- 1 Jalapeño
- Pickled pepperoncini peppers
- Spinach
- Lemon or Vinegar
- Olive Oil
- Mayo
- Sea Salt
- Black Pepper
DIRECTIONS
- Cut the red cabbage in thin slices and put in a mixing bowl.
- Cut the jalapeño in half, remove the seeds, and cut into small pieces. Add to the mixing bowl.
- Add the lemon or vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper to the mixing bowl and mix.
- Slice the baguette in half, length ways.
- Heat up some olive oil in a frying pan and toast the baguette to your liking.
- Spread mayo on one side of the bread.
- Cut the Bonfire in slices and add to the mayo-side of the bread.
- Add the cabbage slaw on top of the Bonfire and garnish with pickled pepperoncini peppers.
- On the other size of the baguette, drizzle olive oil and layer with spinach.
- Put the two sides together
- Cut the sandwich in half (optional).
